World Heritage Day Celebration

The school celebrated World Heritage Day on 18 April 2026 with the enthusiastic participation of students from Classes V to X. A wide range of activities was organised to deepen their understanding of India’s tangible and intangible heritage. Traditional art workshops, linocut printmaking and clay-modelling activities enabled students to explore indigenous artistic practices. Expressive dance performances and mime presentations brought historical and cultural themes to life. Students also participated in poster making, comic-strip creation and fireless cooking, showcasing regional traditions and culinary heritage. The multidisciplinary activities helped students understand that heritage includes monuments, customs, art forms, food, language and shared values. The celebration also highlighted the responsibility of every citizen to preserve cultural treasures for future generations. The event successfully combined creativity with meaningful learning and encouraged students to take pride in India’s rich and diverse cultural legacy.
