Kavi Sammelan — A Celebration of Words and Emotions

The Hindi and Sanskrit Department of Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City organized a vibrant Kavi Sammelan on 8th October 2025, transforming the school campus into a lively arena of creativity and poetic expression.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Classes VI to X, who captivated the audience with their confident and soulful recitations. Through their powerful verses, melodious delivery, and expressive performances, the budding poets took everyone on an emotional journey filled with patriotism, compassion, and affection.
Organized in a competitive format, the event featured poetry recitations based on Veer Ras (valour), Karuna Ras (compassion), and Vatsalya Ras (affection), each performed with remarkable flair and feeling.

Winners of the Poetry Recitation Competition:
First Position: Sanchi Dhalla (IX A) and Divyesh Vats (VIII C)
Second Position: Pranjal Shastri (VII A) and Krishna (VI C)
Third Position: Devesh Jajaria (VI C) and Pragya Singh (VIII A)
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a heartfelt congratulatory message from the Principal, who encouraged students to continue nurturing their poetic and creative abilities. She emphasized that such events should be held regularly to provide young minds with a platform for self-expression and literary growth.
