Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), hosted the Standards Writing Competition on 20th August 2025. The event began with an orientation session led by Mr. T. D. Gadgil, former Director of BIS, who enlightened students about the functioning of BIS and the nuances of writing standards.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, and the winners were: First Position – Khushi Vashishta (Class XI K), Second Position – Lakshay Jain (Class X), and Third Position – Lakshya Kumar (Class XI). The winners received cash prizes and certificates, while all participants were encouraged with words of appreciation.
The event aimed to foster consumer awareness and highlight the significance of quality standards in everyday life.
