Students of Class XII participated in an art exhibition organised on 7 April 2026 by the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre, New Delhi. Held at Auditorium 1, Bharat Mandapam, the exhibition commemorated the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Three students represented the school and displayed paintings inspired by the themes of peace, humanity and remembrance. They had the opportunity to present and explain their artworks to the High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda and engage in meaningful discussions about their artistic interpretations. The research and creative process helped them understand the devastating consequences of hatred and violence while reinforcing the values of empathy, unity and respect for human life. Accompanied by their teacher, Mr Rahul, the students gained confidence, historical awareness and valuable experience in using art as a medium of social reflection.
