Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad, hosted its annual Hunar Mela on Wednesday, 6th August 2025. The event celebrated India’s rich cultural heritage by showcasing traditional craftsmanship and artistry, attracting over 1000 visitors including students, parents, and art lovers.
Talented artisans from Azamgarh and Barmer displayed a remarkable collection of handcrafted products, offering visitors a glimpse into India’s diverse crafts. The exhibition featured beautiful pottery, handwoven saris, and traditional paintings such as Madhubani, Gond, and Pattachitra. Additionally, eco-friendly jewelry from Shantiniketan and a special stall from NAB enhanced the variety.
A highlight of the event was the live demonstrations, where skilled artisans showcased their techniques, allowing visitors to witness the creation process firsthand.
The Hunar Mela 2025 was a valuable educational experience that reinforced the importance of preserving cultural heritage while promoting sustainable and artistic livelihoods.
