On Saturday, 3rd May 2025, Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad, hosted the Shakespeare Sonnet Recitation Contest to mark the birth anniversary of the Bard of Avon. Students from Classes VI to VIII enthralled the audience with their expressive renditions of Shakespeare’s most celebrated sonnets. The event not only honed their elocution skills but also deepened their appreciation for classical literature. Divyesh of Class VIII C impressed the judges with his mature delivery of Sonnet 15 and secured the first position, followed by Aanya of Class VI A and Karvi of Class VII C, who stood second and third respectively.
