The school organised an anti-drug awareness session titled “Operation Prahar” on 8 April 2026 for students of Classes IX to XII. Conducted by officials from the local police, the programme sensitised students to the serious physical, psychological and social consequences of substance abuse. The officials discussed the misuse of drugs, vaping products and certain commonly available household substances. Through comparative visuals and real-life examples, they explained how experimentation could gradually lead to dependency and addiction. Students were also informed about the psychological and social factors that may trigger substance abuse. Special emphasis was placed on recognising behavioural and physical warning signs, resisting peer pressure and seeking timely help from trusted adults. Important helpline information was also shared. The session empowered students to make informed choices and reinforced the school’s commitment to promoting a safe, responsible and drug-free lifestyle.
