On Saturday, 24 January 2026, the students of Salwan Public School delivered a stellar performance at the Uttar Pradesh Diwas celebrations, organized by the Zila Prashasan, Ghaziabad. The event, centered on the theme of national and state progress, was graced by Shri Narendra Kashyap, Hon’ble MLA, as the Chief Guest.
The program commenced with a spiritually uplifting invocation featuring the school choir and dance troupe. Their disciplined synchronization and soulful music were widely acclaimed by the audience. National Art Achievement: Japan on Canvas 2026
Sindhuja Sampda, a student of Class 12, achieved the Outstanding Performance Award at the “Japan on Canvas 2026” National Level Art Competition. Organised by the Experience Japan Foundation, the competition centred on the theme “Japanese Architecture and Famous Monuments of Japan.”
Salwan Public School Participants Shine at National ‘Desh Ratna’ Event
In alignment with our school’s vision to foster national pride and cultural excellence, 13 talented students from Classes V to VIII represented Salwan Public School, TDSC at the prestigious ‘Desh Ratna’ Award Programme on 23rd December. The event was organized by the Bhartiya Yuva Welfare Association with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Employment to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The event was graced by distinguished leaders, including Union Cabinet Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh, Sh. Raghuraj Singh, and Sh. Chirag Paswan.
Our students captivated the audience with a graceful and devotional rendition of Ganesh Vandana. Their performance was a perfect blend of discipline and artistic finesse, receiving widespread appreciation from the dignitaries and the audience alike. Participation in National Cryptic Crossword Contest
Eight students represented the school in the National Cryptic Crossword Contest held at
the YMCA Auditorium, New Delhi, on 20 November 2025. The objective of this competition was to strengthen vocabulary, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking through challenging crossword formats. The participating teams progressed to the national level after clearing multiple rounds conducted since July 2025, including three online rounds, an offline round
at IIT Delhi, and a final face-to-face video interaction. As national qualifiers, students received a National Qualifier Trophy along with a gift pack.
The proud achievers were Saksham Mishra (9A), Vivan Sharma (9A), Pratyayaksh (11D), Ryan Sharma (11D), Aditi Bhargava (10A), Shivansh Mehta (10A), Avni Jain (10A) & Saksham Jain (10A).
Participation in Behes South Delhi Debate
The school participated in the Behes South Delhi debating event held on 7 and 8 November 2025 at Heritage School, Vasant Kunj. Students demonstrated commendable communication skills, confidence, and logical reasoning while presenting their arguments. A notable achievement was secured by Yashika Chaudhary (IX-B), who earned a Silver Medal for her
strong and persuasive stance against the motion. The event provided meaningful exposure to competitive debating formats and encouraged students to think critically and articulate ideas effectively.
Achievement in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan Examination
Five students from the school have successfully cleared Level 1 of the Vidyarthi Vigyan
Manthan (VVM) examination, held in October. The selected students are: Aradhya (9C), Ayush Sharma (9C), Somya (9B), Gyan Prakash (7A), and Somya Mathpal (7A).
Their performance reflects strong subject understanding and consistent academic effort. The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan serves as a national platform that encourages scientific temperament, analytical thinking, and conceptual clarity among students. Salwan Students Participate in “Vismrit Kritiyan – Rediscovering Forgotten Art Forms”
From 1st to 5th November 2025, our students had the privilege of participating in “Vismrit Kritiyan – Rediscovering Forgotten Art Forms”, organised by the Salwan Education Trust in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Ministry of Culture, at the Darshanam Art Gallery, IGNCA, Janpath, New Delhi.
The exhibition provided a platform for our students to explore, research, and revive traditional and lesser-known Indian art forms under the guidance of their teachers. Their dedication and creativity were prominently showcased, reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering artistic talent and preserving India’s cultural heritage.
During the event, our students had the honour of meeting renowned Bollywood personality Shri Javed Akhtar, who shared his insights on art and creativity, further inspiring them to pursue excellence in their craft.

Jeet has made it to the top 100 in the prestigious Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2023 in Noida region!
This national competition, organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education, attracts over half a million students from classes VIII-X across India. It aims to merge mathematical theory with real-life applications, enhancing problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
In two challenging rounds – offline at school and online at the national level – students tackle a variety of mathematical problems, with the top 100 earning special recognition.

Inspire Manak Award: A Beacon of Scientific Brilliance
In an outstanding display of scientific ingenuity, Aishani Rai represented Salwan Public School Ghaziabad in National Level Science Competition held at Lucknow. She has also been a proud recipient of Inspire Manak Award along with two other students of the school Pranjal Sharma and Yash Kumar. Each student received a cash prize of worth Rs. 10,000 for innovative science projects. This accolade not only recognizes their exceptional talent but also offers them a platform to showcase their projects at the district level.
Ananya Rai Triumphs in Science Model Contest with Smart School Bus Design
A Class XII student, Ananya Rai secured first place in the state-level science model competition organized by the Science and Technology Council of Uttar Pradesh on October 10, 2023, in Lucknow. Her innovative model, “Safe, Secure & Smart School Bus,” included a Driver Drowsiness Detection System, an AI Attendance System, and Child Safety Systems. In appreciation of her outstanding work, Ananya received a cash reward of Rs. 25,000. Her achievement serves as inspiration for young scientific innovators.
She also participated in the Sadak Suraksha Pakhwada event organized by Transport Department, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on 15th December. Sh. V.K. Singh, Minister of State in Road Transport and Highways, felicitated Ananya Rai for her project and suggested implementing this in all schools’ buses.
Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp
Students Atharv Sanjeev Kumar and Pratham Jain accompanied by a teacher, Ms. Bhawna Grover participated in the five days Bootcamp at Chandigarh, organised by Ministry of Education, MIC, MoE, AICTE.
The innovative startup idea of a social media platform, with its business plan, was pitched in front of the panel of investors.
The students were awarded as the first position winners in the school students’ category.

In CBSE XII & X Results announced on Friday, 22nd July, 2022, the students of Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad proved their mettle with exuberant results. In Class XII results, Astha Garg topped the school with 95.8% Marks whereas Adhyayan Pandey and Rahul Mujhedi secured 95.6 % and 95.4% marks respectively. Rahul Mujhedi also secured a perfect 100 in Business Studies.
The students maintained the benchmark of excellence in Class X too. Ananya Rai topped the school with 98% Marks whereas Eshita Bora and Navya Yadav secured 97.8% marks each. Harshit Tyagi achieved 97% marks. Delighted at the students’ stellar academic performance in Class XII & X with 100% pass percentage, the Principal Mrs. Sunita Madan congratulated students and said “The results reinforced our belief that quality education will bring out champions and winners. This success achieved by the students even in this challenging time is a manifestation of their hard work and the dedicated efforts of the faculty.”
Parents felt delighted at the overwhelming success of their children and acknowledged the continuous effort of the school in ushering their academic performance through regular practice, hard work, dedication and commitment.
RASTRIYA VIGYAN SANGOSHTI
The school participated in the prestigious ‘Rastriya Vigyan Sangoshti’ on Saturday, 23rd October 2021. The students were asked to prepare slide presentation on the theme, ‘Boosting Immunity.’ Vividly outlining the significance of boosting immunity in today’s times, Adeem Faizi of Class VIII was shortlisted for his innovative ideas at district level among top 40 schools.
Thereafter, a quiz contest was held among the participants. Armed with out-of-the-box ideas and velocity of responsiveness in quiz, Adeem secured the third position in this hugely contested competition.
INSPIRE AWARDS
The school is proud to share that Sahaj Gambhir, Class VIII, has been awarded with a Certificate and a Cash Award of Rs.10,000 for his innovative idea by INSPIRE Awards-Manak 2021 organised by the Department of Science and Technology and National Innovation Foundation, India. His idea is to create an Al integrated system for Mask Detection & automatic attendance system.
FORTUNATE FESTIVAL 2021
Fortunate Festival was conducted by Bharat AI Labs. The school received certificate of appreciation for maximum participation in learning sessions. Sahaj Gambhir won first position in making a mobile game.

Shivi Bansal of Class XI participated in the 8th Nanhi Chhan Essay Writing Competition and ranked 6th among top 17 finalists and secured her place in the Group Discussion round. The grand event was presided over by Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia – Minister of Civil Aviation of India.
STEM QUIZ BY UPGRAD
From a total of 2500 quiz-participants Astha Garg qqualified among top 100 students at National Level. She has received a 50% Scholarship on STEM Bachelor Degree Programs from the Top Universities in UPGRAD. School congratulates her for this remarkable achievement.
SAKSHAM 2021
The school participated in an Inter School Fest- SAKSHAM 2021 hosted by SPS Gurugram to boost the confidence of diverse learners. The fest provided a platform to students to showcase their creative skills and talent on the theme ‘States of India’. Bushra Siddiqui of Class VII won Gold Star in the category Poster Making whereas Aarav Gupta of class I won the Bronze star in the category Fancy Dress. Kudos to the Champions.

Avantika Tyagi and Priyanshi Tyagi participated in All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Championship held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from 16th October to 22nd October, 2022.

Rounak Kamti and Dhruv Tomar, Class IX, secured the First position in Model Making whereas Saanvi, VII clinched the second position in Elocution Prelection. HOLISTIC EDUCATION AWARD- FIRST PRIZE

With the display of speed, stamina, strength and skill, Krit Chaudhary clinched the Gold Medal, Shrey bagged Silver whereas Arnav Anand won the Bronze Medal. For their remarkable performance, Abeek Sahoo and Ashmit Tomar qualified for State Level in the Category 9-11.

18TH GHAZIABAD DISTRICT ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET
It was a proud moment for Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad when Shriya Tripathi bagged two Gold Medals in 100m and 300m sprints in 18th Ghaziabad District Annual Athletic Meet 2021-22 in the category U-16. Mriganshi Chaudhary also won the Gold in Shot Put in U-16 Category.
FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN
73 students along with 5 physical education teachers enthusiastically participated in the Fit India Freedom Run organized under ‘Fit India Movement’ from 15th August – 2nd October. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere, anytime!”
All the participants received certificates of acknowledgement and the school is also a proud recipient of Certificate of Appreciation for successfully organising the event.
FIT INDIA CYCLOTHON
The school participated in Fit India Cyclothon by FIT INDIA MOVEMENT with a view to encourage students to remain healthy and fit by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives.
Faculty and students participated in the cycling event and covered 5km. After the successful completion of the cyclothon, the school received a Certificate of Appreciation.

PCRA SAKSHAM NATIONAL COMPETITIONS 2021
The students won accolades in PCRA ‘Saksham’ National Competitions 2021. Arnav Jha of Class IX, Eshika Tyagi of Class IX and Archita Gupta of Class X featured prominently among top 50 students from all States & Union territories and won the cash prize worth Rs.2000. The Essay writing and Painting competitions hosted by PCRA aimed to raise awareness among youth about the conservation of Petroleum products in industrial, transport, agriculture and domestic sector, reduction of oil imports, energy conservation, importance and use of renewable energy sources, and how to practice conservation tips in our daily lives, and save the environment.
LAURELS AT FIRST INTERNATIONAL INTER-SCHOOL FEST
The students participated in the First International Inter-School Fest – Action for Sustainable Development 2020 organised by Shri Ram Global School, Greater Noida and won laurels.
The competition enhanced the creative bent of the students and encouraged them to continue to stride ahead.
CREATING NEXT GENERATION CODERS AND PROGRAMMERS
The school is taking steps to inspire the next generation to use technology and innovation within their areas of interest and their future careers. Taking into account the same, teachers and students enrolled and completed a certification programme organized by NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and Plezmo on Coding and App Development. Students and teachers learnt skills such as Coding, Computational Thinking, Design Thinking and Problem Solving. After the completion of the course, a certificate was also awarded to the participants. Manya Jain & Shreshtha Rawat of Class VIII developed various mobile applications using his coding and programming skills and registered his presence in google play store.
LAURELS AT AMITY YOUTH FORUM
This two-day event commenced with the inauguration by Hon’ble member of Parliament, Smt. Smriti Irani and Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala. A wide spectrum of activities and events were conducted wherein the students got an opportunity to exhibit their innate talent. Four students of Class IX excelled in the competitions by securing 1st position in a varied range of activities.
USTADGAH WORKSHOP
Music and Dance department attended “Ustadgah Music” workshop by Zila Khan based on Sufi music along with 5 students. She is an Indian Sufi singer and actor who sings Classical and semi classical musical forms and performs in the tradition of Imdadkhani Gharana. Five students of our school participated in this workshop:
Lakshay (VII A), Drishti (VIII C), Komal (VIII C), Bhavya (IX B), Trisha (X C).
Three students of our school: Lakshay, Trisha & Bhavya were given the opportunity to attend the advanced level workshop.
JUST RIGHT KIDS’ AWARDS
“You’re never too young to change the world,” is an adage that budding activists across the world live by, summoning the courage and taking action for the sake of education for all children. Three young activists of our school were nominated for this award, honouring their efforts to change the society for the better.

“RHETORIA”- INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION
Our school believes in promoting the learners’ spirit to explore and discover more, the students keenly participated in Online Inter-School Competition. RHETORIA – The Inter-School Fest organized by JM International School, Dwarka, New Delhi. This competition provided the students a platform to showcase their abilities and communication skills in the most effective way.

Winter Carnival
No matter how difficult the times have been, we have sailed through as it has not stopped the hope and passion of us. Salwan Public School, TDSC organized VIRTUAL WINTER CARNIVAL 2020, the event that was an amalgamation of creativity amidst a lot of zeal and zest. The main objective behind this carnival was to give an opportunity to the students of Salwan Education Trust and other schools to showcase their talent. The fun-filled event was open to the public wherein a plethora of competitions were conducted that unfurled innovative and creative streaks of students. Their joy knew no bounds as they indulged in multifarious activities.
Almost 300 students participated in the carnival, and our young blossoming kids exhibited their creativity and innate talent with great fervour and ardour, thus making the Winter Carnival 2020 a memorable one.
VISHWAS TYAGI: BHARAT YOGA AWARD (YOGA)
Our school gave the opportunity to many students to fulfil their dream of becoming a sports star. Master VISHWAS TYAGI, a Yoga champion undertook coaching in the field of yoga. His persistent efforts and consistent hard work honed his skills. His burning desire to be the best, his refusal to quit, to persevere, to practice, to do more than the minimum eventually led him to being one of the greatest Yoga champions. He received a Gold Medal in the National Championship and was bestowed with many other awards in Inter State and Regional levels.
ADHYAYAN PANDEY: PERFORMING AT NATIONAL LEVEL IN YOGA
Master ADHYAYAN PANDEY, a yoga champion, proved his dedication, determination and discipline for Yoga, by working day and night with the school coaches, to be a successful yoga champion. He was awarded with the YOGA RATTAN, from the government of India.
YASH TRIPATHI: SELECTED & PLAYED IN VIJAY MERCHANT TROPHY (BCCI)
The school provided a platform to Yash Tripathi to make his dreams come true. In the process of being successful, the school and enthusiastic teachers contributed in instilling valuable skills for his betterment. The coaches motivated him to do his best on the ground. His only goal was to be the one who can achieve success in his game. To achieve this goal, he worked on all his capacities on the cricket pitch resulting in his selection by BCCI in VIJAY MERCHANT TROPHY. He is a star of SALWAN CRICKET TEAM.
FIT INDIA MOVEMENT
The school got registered for “Khelo India”- A fit India Movement for school students in the month of October, 2020. Their trial of physical activities started in the month of December and were assessed on the basis of balance, flexibility, coordination, speed, strength and cardiovascular endurance. The school assured 100% participation of the students in the same.
Our students enthusiastically participated in these activities and proved that they would become active citizens of India in future.

FIT INDIA SCHOOL AWARD
In an attempt to promote fitness among students, our school took part in the Fit India Movement launched by PM Modi on 29th August, 2019. The prime objective of the initiative was to bring about a behavioural change in school children from spending “Passive Screen Time” to “Active Field Time”. For the successful launch of the program, we received FIT India School Certificate.
School has also begun to assess the fitness levels of students from the age of 5 years to 16 years using the Khelo India Mobile App that has been developed by the Sports Authority of India which helps to ascertain aspects such as flexibility, core strength and agility of students. These scores can then be used to identify students who have the prospect of taking up sports at the professional level.
SALWANIANS…PARTNERS IN SETTING GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS
Attempting a herculean feat at the Indian Institute of Technology, 25 students from Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad from the Classes VI to XII performed in a historic mega global event ‘Student Solar Ambassadors’ on 2nd October,2019 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Delhi. The idea behind this was to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and encourage energy sustainability by mitigating climate change. This was a Guinness Book of World Record Event which made an incredible sight when 10,000 students in the campus lit their own made Solar Lamps simultaneously, spreading the message – Solar is the way forward!
